Spring 6/12 hour
Saturday 15 November 2025, 11:00am - 11:00pm

25SpringBoulder lowres

Subject to formal approval - save this date for your next rogaine adventure.

The 2025 Spring 6 and 12 hour Bondo rogaines will be held at Bondo State Forest, east of Tumut, NSW.

The area features a mix of native and pine forest. The course has been designed with to provide easier routes that use the well-defined features, and more challenging loops for those looking for a physical and navigational challenge.

The starts of the events will be at 11am. The six hour will finish at 5 pm, and 12 hour will finish at 11 pm. This is a good event to step up to a 12 hour as there will only be about 2:40 hrs of dark.

Entries cost to come. Under 14 free. No solo entries for this event - teams of 2 to 5 people.

We hope to open entries around 25 October. Entries, once opened, will be open to 11:59 pm Sunday 9 November without late fees. Entries receieved between then and complete close at 11:59 pm on Wednesday 12 November incur a late fee of $10 per person.

Camping is available at the Hash House site which is a basic clearing in the forest. You are welcome to camp on both the Friday and Saturday nights. Catering will only be available at the end of each event so please be self-sufficient for any other time you will be camping.

If you need a partner, contact the event organiser with your category and level of competitiveness for the event. The event organiser will match people up where possible but we make no guarantees and recommend you keep asking around people you know.

Notes for this event:

We need a person with a 4WD ute or similar to tow the catering trailer to and from the event. Please contact Julie if you are able to help.

If you choose to camp overnight and still have a little energy left on Sunday morning, please let Julie know if you can collect a few controls. There are good access roads so you can visit a part of the course you may not have reached during your rogaine. It would be much appreciated if most of them can be collected on the Sunday so we don't have to make too many collecting trips later.

Event catering will be basic as ACTRA volunteers are also organising this. If you fancy yourself as a chef or sous we can find a spot for you to help! We will do our best to cater for a range of needs and tastes but please see the final instructions for details and be prepared to bring additional or special food that you may require.

Please bring along a PLB or similar (e.g. Garmin Inreach) if you own one to carry on the course as there is no mobile reception on the course.
